The Capresso EC Select is incredibly compact and housed in a stainless steel body with black plastic accents and has simple controls. To switch between brewing and frothing functions, turn the knob located on the front panel of the machine to switch between the two and that’s it. The 15-bar pump that provides pressure ideal for producing crema rich cafe-quality espresso and cappuccino. The portafilter can make two single or double-shots at once and has a self-locking mechanism with a thumb-guard to ensure a proper fit. Lastly, the swivel frother will allow you to switch between different sized cups, glasses or pitchers with ease. Other features include a cup-warming platform to help your cups retain heat for your brew, a removable 40 oz reservoir for an easy refill when you get low on water and a detachable drip tray for an easy clean up. Also included with every EC Select is a coffee scoop and tamper.
